We are called by name to be disciples of Jesus.  This is a call to live out the destiny God has planned for us; to live each day in the presence of God; to do God's will instead of our own.  Stewards take this call seriously and respond joyfully.

Stewardship is the result of becoming a disciples.  It flows from the understanding that our lives belong to God.  It is God's work disciples are about.  Beginning with their baptismal call and strengthened by the Church, stewards become followers of Jesus in a personal way.

All work done by stewards is important.  No job is too menial or too insignificant to be part of God's plan.
